Artist Statement
Can art change the world? Probably not, but if it could, I would sure sign up for that. This piece is my wish and my hope that I can’t even imagine ever coming true, but wouldn’t it be amazing?
I started painting seriously when I retired five years ago. I have mainly done watercolor, but am expanding into acrylics because there are just some things that watercolor won’t do. I will literally paint anything, although people still present quite a challenge! Painting has expanded my life, my viewpoint and definitely improves my mood. I highly recommend it!
