TVAA raises public awareness of local artists and their work while creating opportunities for its members, and the larger art community.

Since 2010, the Treasure Valley Artists’ Alliance has been working to raise awareness of local art through education, enrichment, and exhibition. The alliance adopted a mission to strengthen the bond of community between artists, share best practices, identify local resources, collaborate, and to promote educational opportunities.

In 2014 TVAA established its first academic scholarship program, created to endow local artists attending Boise State University, as well as other Treasure Valley-based institutions of higher learning. In addition to direct art scholarships, TVAA also created opportunity/project grants for both high school and college students.

This year, we’re continuing our scholarship and educational programs. We’ll be giving scholarships to art students attending schools in the Treasure Valley, as well as teach professional art practices to members and the public.

Every dollar counts and 100% of all donations TVAA receives goes directly to our scholarship and educational programs. All TVAA exhibitions, general meetings and art forums are free and open to the public.
