Artist Statement
Traveling through Alberta it’s hard to pick just one site to paint, but Lake Louise with its beautiful glacial silt colored water and the glacier behind was one. I did others from that trip too.
Artist Bio
I took my first art lesson when I was in my 50s. Now in my 70s I am grateful to those teachers whose patience I surely needed. I am inspired by nature when I lived in the east and now in the northwest. I try to connect with the flow of the paint and the essence of the image. Painting has also helped me through some difficult times in my life’s journey. I keep trying to learn something new with each painting.
