Art is essential to living and brings peace and connection. I seek unexpected elements beyond my photograph or naked eye. An Australian-American who has lived in Virginia, Washington, and Idaho, I draw freehand in graphite or charcoal then paint to express feeling. Mixing colors and experimenting is exciting and discovery keeps life interesting.
