About the artist
I had an early interest in art and I explored various creative outlets including stagecraft, music and choral work, film and photography, as well as drawing and painting through high school and into college, culminating in a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Painting at the University of Washington in 1987.
I have exhibited in numerous group, solo, and invitational shows, and have won many awards in juried shows. After several years’ absence from oil painting, during which I concentrated on pastels, I returned to oil painting and now divide my time between the two mediums.
