Artist Statement
Abstracts have always drawn me, especially in their nature to express the intangible. This piece is part of a series testing out new techniques and color palettes inspired by artist Joe Martino. I ended up making several pieces in this style, but this one in particular stood out to me. I enjoy the difficulty in tying elements together in abstracts; this one challenged me and made me a better artist.
