Oil and oil Sticks on Cradled Gesso board
Artists Statement
I Hear the Clouds in My Sleep is a sensory imaginary abstract landscape. It is the quiet dialogue between the soft rolling fog as it mingles and caresses the land and water. The fog clouds and the land mirror each others patterns and shapes while the blue calm water and sky echo each others colors and light. There is a softness and ephemeral quality about fog as it slowly spreads rising and falling amidst the air-an almost dreamy sensory memory across the landscape.
