Ice Cave Wall
Watercolor and pen
Artists Statement
This painting is of one of the walls at the Ice Cave in Shoshone. I was amazed at the natural beauty of the rock formations. It is a very detailed piece requiring lots of time and attention to all the parts.
My art is whatever inspires me. It can be something in nature, a building, an animal, and many times a song. Painting allows a release for me from every day living. I paint for others, but mainly I paint because I need and want to.
Artist Bio
Art for me is a lifeline. I can’t imagine my life without it. It has helped me view things differently, hear things differently, and has completely expanded my horizons. Everything around me is a conduit for my art, whether it is a building, an animal, scenery, or a song. My goal is to create a mood or feeling that others can connect to. It is an ever expanding learning experience.
