Artists Statement
I love these rocks and how they are balanced in the midst of all that rushing water. It is also suggestive of cairns which are placed as landmarks or memorials. According to OnlineCamera.com “rock stacking has carried spiritual meaning across cultures for centuries. The act of balancing stones carries with it a practice of patience and a physical effort of creating balance. Each rock can signify an intention of grace for thankfulness, or offered up for another in need. Connecting nature in this externalized expression is uplifting and a very powerful tool for expanding the spirit.”
Artist Bio
Art for me is a lifeline. I can’t imagine my life without it. It has helped me view things differently, hear things differently, and has completely expanded my horizons. Everything around me is a conduit for my art, whether it is a building, an animal, scenery, or a song. My goal is to create a mood or feeling that others can connect to. It is an ever expanding learning experience.
