About the artist
I work as a poet, story writer, editor and cruciverbalist, but I’ve always been involved in art and crafts, including sewing, quilting, painting and building/decorating dollhouses. Most recently, I’ve decorated wooden frames, created alphabetical art boxes, made mixed media pieces from stationery boxes, and made trinket boxes. Now I’m a painter, collagist and jewelry maker, specializing in brooches, and will soon learn to melt and solder metal. My first exhibited painting, “So Many Phalluses,” appeared at the Josephy Center in Oregon in 2020 and was bought by a collector.
