About the artist
Susan has been hooking 30+ years and is a Certified McGown Teacher. She enjoys showing her work in shows, demonstrating and teaching in order to grow rug hooking’s impact on the art world and today’s society. She has won numerous awards for her rug hooking over the years and been featured in Rug Hooking Magazine’s “Celebration” numerous times, featuring the best hooked rugs finished worldwide in any given year. She accepts commissions for hooked pieces and has happy collectors of her work. She is a certified McGown Rug Hooking Teacher, teaches privately in her home studio and conducts group classes.
