About the artist
I have been painting and drawing since childhood. While in high school, I attended Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles, learning to draw and paint from the live model. I earned a BA in Studio Art from University of California, Santa Cruz. There, I fell in love with interpreting the natural world around me that has continued throughout my artistic career. My favorite mediums are oil paint and gouache which I use to capture my way of seeing the world around me.
