About the artist
My work is construction: I build art. Anything goes that contributes texture, tonality and color to the construct. It always starts with a Plan that then takes its own shape.
Oil, ink, acrylic, rock, concrete, steel, sand, shell, spackle; fabric, fiber, bark; glass, plastic, gems, rhinestones –whatever it takes to make the work work.
My intent is to throw nothing away, salvage the unlikely and then transform it. It is rewarding to reshape the disparate & cast-off into something uniquely Other.
