Artist Statement
Gifts given, passed down from the elder to the younger, what curiosities and memories wait in the heirlooms we share.
Jessie Swimeley is a contemporary printmaker, photographer, and mixed media artist.
Finding significance in the seemingly insignificant is a common theme throughout much of Jessie’s art.
Jessie received her BA in Photography from the University of Oregon. Her work has been displayed in exhibits and galleries throughout the United States. Jessie is a member of Boise Open Studios, Treasure Valley Artists Alliance, and the Nature Printing Society. She currently lives and works in Caldwell, Idaho.
