Artist Statement
Abstract Thoughts is part of a series of several that were created towards the end of my broken leg healing process. For me it was a strong series about moving…after not walking for some time. The lines are very free to move around as they come out on top of the solid shapes behind them — as the movement comes back after being unused for some weeks of healing.
