Artist Statement
A mandala is a circular configuration of symbols used in Hinduism and Buddhism. It literally means circle in Sanskrit. A sand mandala is often destroyed as a reminder of the impermanence of life. This version in acrylics on canvas , is meant to show in a permanent manner, the colors and the beauty of geometric design.
