About the artist
Mike Oglesbee was born in 1967 in Ontario, Oregon and raised in the small town of Payette, Idaho. As a young boy if he wasn’t playing in the mud, he was spending hours drawing and dreaming, taking in and getting inspiration from the world around him. Upon discharge from the U.S. Coast Guard he studied illustration and the visual arts at Boise State University where he received a BFA in Illustration in 2005. Mike presently lives in Kuna, Idaho with his wife Melyssa and his two sons Isaiah and William. He makes his living as a free-lance artist.
