Light reflecting off facets of the landscape captured the imagination of expressionistic artist Mary Arnold from the start. She spent her childhood with animals as her companions, and fields and mountains as her playground.
Passionate about protecting our public lands and the animals in our lives, she hopes that her paintings broaden a message of conservation and acknowledgement of their roles in our hearts. She is excited about capturing the light in the eyes of an animal just as much as the light on the mountain peaks. With every shift of the light, different facets emerge, piquing her interest anew.
