Artists Statement
Sunset over the Snake River does more than turn the water every shade of orange. It plays with the deep rock canyon walls with a dance of light and shadow. In this miniature line-and-wash-rendering even the reflection of the Perrine Bridge can be seen.
Artist Bio
After practicing law for over 30 years, Paula Brown Sinclair discovered watercolor. She found the unexpectedness of the medium especially appealing, and learning has become a relaxing antidote to the sometimes contentious nature of her practice. How to successfully let the water loose to become a partner in the process will take a lifetime of learning. Landscapes and images from elsewhere are favorite subjects.
