The Last Drop
Acrylic on canvas
Artists Statement
This art piece was inspired by the pressures I see on Water reflects light as easily as it absorbs light. This painting depicts water being drawn forcefully from a parched ground, leaving just a shadow behind. Most of the Treasure Valley’s water comes from underground aquifers, for a growing population projected to reach over 1 million people just in Ada County by 2040, if not sooner. What happens when the water runs out?
