About the artist
Katie Wells enjoys painting in acrylics and oils. She enjoys painting abstracts, landscapes, and portraits. Her degrees are in graphic design and communications, but now focuses her attention on fine art painting. Her colorful abstracts emote feelings of calm, and other human emotions. Her inspiration comes from the joys and sorrows of life, and the Idaho landscapes where she calls home. Katie creates art because it soothes her, teaches her, and allows her to process her human emotions onto canvas. Katie is just beginning her artist career, but is excited, humbled, and eager to learn and create.
