Artist Statement
I have embarked on creating a series of images in which I have inverted reflections of trees in ponds and rivers. The result is what appear to be actual pictures of trees, although the reflected images are abstractions that did not actually exist in the form depicted. Extraneous factor such as duck reflections and ripples can add to the mysteries of the scenes.
