Artist’s Statement
I am an artist who paints stories that speak of time, place and nature. My artwork is a contemporary imaginary fiction composed of fragments of thought, time, place, sight, myth, emotion, and dream. I am primarily a painter, painting large expressive, colorful, imaginary abstract landscapes, in oil, acrylic and mixed media.
I also tell my stories with my digital artwork which uses fragments of my paintings and photographs digitally combined and printed on watercolor paper and finished by hand with acrylic paint and markers.
