About the artist
As one of twelve children on a dairy farm in rural Iowa, I had to struggle and work hard growing up. That combined with living in diverse geographies of California, Oregon, Florida and now Idaho, have given me a broad palette/perspective with which to draw upon as I create my watercolor pieces.
Targeting outdoor, rustic, and pastoral scenes, my paintings attempt to evoke feelings of home and a sense of calm in our ever growing, busy planet.
