About the artist
I am an explorer of colors, textures, movements, stimulating, mesmerizing. The first half of my life, I put stories on radio and TVnews. I hurt a lot of people in the process. I turned to medical work to make amends. In 2021,a friend encouraged me to paint. After time I shared my abstracts and other artworks with my patients at the hospital.Many are cognitively impaired, w/dementia, often agitated. They look at paintings, they calm down, fixated, able to put words to thoughts everyone thought they had forgotten. They find meaning special to them, making each painting more special to me.
