Artist Statement
Pastels and oil are perfect for painting Magnolia flowers – strong, fragile; tough, delicate. Using magnolias from a nearby tree, I created still life arrangements taking photograph and painted 30pastel painting on 6″x6″ board for an art group challenge. This was my very first ever, pastel on board, still life thus beginning a new “Teggie Adventure”… please continue…
