Torn poster and electric meters, Boise
Archival pigment inkjet print
Artists Statement
The tattered remains of a poster with peaceful figures contrast with the rigid functionality of the electric meters.
Artist Bio
I am originally from the United Kingdom and moved to Boise in 2019 after living in Anchorage, Alaska, for nearly 30 years. Fine art photography has been a lifetime passion. In Alaska I initially worked in the oil industry, but entered a career as a writer and journalist in the late 1990s. My wife and I have retired to Boise, where I am continuing to pursue my interest in photography. I do a variety of styles of work, to capture my feelings about the world through street photography, documenting cultural issues, and scenes in nature.
