Artists Statement
This piece was done during a plein air painting excursion, on a beautiful fall day. I loved the interplay of the complimentary colors of the orange leaves & green background! The flow of the leaves dancing in the wind & catching the sunlight, depicted a perfect fall day!
Artist Bio
Growing up in the Northwest, I came to treasure the beauty that surrounds us. With that as an impetus, I find that depicting that beauty through plein air painting is a goal I strive to bring to life for the viewer.
