Artists Statement
Diana #2 was the second painting I did of our model, Diana, one day during our Tuesday figure drawing group.
Artist Bio
I work in both pastels and oils (separately) going back and forth from one medium to the other depending on either the subject, inspiration, need, or if I’m painting outside (oils). My approach is somewhat the same for both – to use chunks of color in a very loose way thereby avoiding excessive detail.
