Artist Statement
The idea for our collaboration is to show a progression, sort of like a copy of a copy of a copy. So, this is my interpretation of Frankie’s interpretation of the original photograph. For this, I challenged myself to work outside of my comfort zone by using only a pallet knife instead of brushes. The result is a very tactile and textured surface.
