Artist Statement
Depicted here is a rural, close knit community, aligned in faith. Fall color flows from the hillside to the valley. Rosemary imagines a villager, standing on the near hillside, admiring the scene. Shortened days remind everyone that winter is soon to come.
Rosemary Leal sketches and paints with graphite, ink, acrylics, oils and watercolors. She enjoys the challenges that each provide.
