Artist Statement
This painting shows two sisters sharing a special time together engaged in an activity that they both enjoy. This was a scene at Indian Creek Winery.
I enjoy painting impressionistic oil paintings, especially en plein air to truly connect with the subjects. In these paintings of “Artists in the Wild,” I was inspired to capture the artists’ stories as each of them were immersed in their environments.
