Artist Statement
My art revolves around the fluidity of watercolor and the unique texture of gouache. While rooted on-location studies, I also find inspiration in two-dimensional references. This self portrait in gouache is a tribute to a photo captured by Mary Gardiner at Camel Back’s Park in downtown Boise, capturing a moment of personal expression.
