Artist Statement
Originally from Klamath Falls Oregon, Amy Smith is a self-taught artist. She started painting with oils in earnest almost three years ago with the Alla Prima technique and focusing on loose brushwork. She gradually gravitated toward realism. Amy lives and paints in Kuna Idaho.
