Artist Statement
I love animals and I love feeding the squirrels in my backyard. Normally, squirrels don’t go searching for food at night, but an exception is made if they happen to discover a tasty snack nearby like this squirrel did.
I am a colored pencil mixed media artist. My artistic process involves combining the solvent Turpenoid with colored pencil and then painting with a cotton swab. I combine different mediums to this process as well.
I love to create art that communicates spiritual renewal, beauty, and a sense of magic that can be found in the simplicity & uniqueness of animals and nature. I find these things very healing.
