Artist Statement
I love Frida Kahlo, the strength and determination she exhibited in her life, and her connection with the natural world. She surrounded herself with flowers and chickens; I put them on her head to represent that close connection.
Most of my imagery revolves around the natural world: birds, flowers, rocks, people, etc. I hope to capture the endless beauty and joy of our surroundings! Please
