Artist Statement
An expression of the strength, the resilience, the blue weight of struggle. Crushing, fervent, burning orange as it crawls upon one’s back.
A woman’s burden. Unremitting, ever-present, and whose name cannot but confer a thousand lives.
Yet however strong, that weight can never prove fulminating. For even the ocean, blue and vast, must make way for golden hands of sand.
