Artist Statement
Science and quantum theory tells us that everything in the universe is connected. Everything!! This is amazing. The trouble is science does not speak in metaphors where Art is able to. Art can explore how big details relate to little details and then even smaller details (quantum) that connects everything together. I use pattern and color in my work to represent our connected world.
My passion is color. The result is hundreds of canvases I’ve created over the last 50 years. Most have been sold through galleries or through my web page. My ideas come from traveling and 30 years of living on a farm. After my children were grown I went back to school and earned a Master of Fine Art degree. I paint the way I paint to create a beautiful world.
