Artist Statement
Life’s unexpected turns have taught me to let go of expectations in both art and life. My work explores the contrast between clarity and abstraction, allowing each piece to evolve organically through a spontaneous process guided by emotion and imagination.
Using acrylic and pencil, I blend rich textures and subtle colors, creating expressive landscapes. Drawing inspiration from my Colorado roots, coastal life, and Idaho’s landscapes, I aim to give everyday life some beauty.
Pamela Trail, a Colorado State University Fine Arts graduate, channels her strong artistic lineage and lifelong passion into intuitive works that blend acrylic and pencil.
