Fox in the Hen House

Artist Statement
This is from a larger series where I developed images from random patterns, often with the help of onlookers. My sister’s chickens willingly model for grain. In this picture, I thought they should be flying in an angry tizzy with a fox present. No local chickens were harmed for this project. I have heard several versions of what the story is here. Is fox the villain or victim?
Animals have usually been kind to me, so I choose to feature them with dignity and curiosity in my artwork. Patterns, textures and expression in animals, real or implied, is of interest to me.
