Artist Statement
Blank page book/journal. All paper used for the covers and signature pages are copy paper weight. The border is machine stitched with metallic thread, gold eyelets embellishment and cord closure. The binding is a French Link stitch, waxed cotton thread was used.
I make one of a kind artist books using all kinds and weights of paper for the pages and to cover the book board for covers. I often use collage on covers or in content of the books. Bindings are usually done using waxed linen thread, but I experiment with other types. Stitching by machine or hand is often incorporated along with other embellishments.
