Artist Statement
This piece represents my adoration for and playfulness I observe in our feathered friends.
It is a looser style than my colored pencil drawings and I enjoyed the process of using my hands and brushes to apply the oil paint.
This piece was several years in the making, I had a lot of fun and I’m very pleased to have finally completed it.
