Artist Statement
This is an interpretation of a long-abandoned city decaying under a burning sky, on a dead world orbiting a dying sun…and endless labyrinth of empty courtyards, subterranean galleries, palaces and mansions.
My works utilize stark linear perspective to create images mixing Sci-fi, surreal landscapes, and fantasy themes with the natural world. They incorporate a depth of field and complex detail to draw the viewer into them, creating liminal spaces and unique, surreal scenes.
