How to Photograph Your Art Workshop

By February 11, 2020March 29th, 2020Workshops

Having good images of your artwork can elevate your entry in an exhibition. Blurry, poorly lit, or images with bad color won’t impress selection committees.  You want the photographs to be true representations of your work.

Jessie Swimeley leads this workshop on how to use the tools you already have, a smartphone or a camera, to photograph your artwork for submission to shows.  She will also explain how to use some simple editing apps to color correct and resize images for submission.

Taking good photographs of your artwork isn’t as hard as you might think! Join us for this hands-on workshop.

How to Photograph Your Artwork is a free workshop for members of the Treasure Valley Artists Alliance. For non-members, there is a $15 fee to attend this workshop.
