Kuna to launch virtual art gallery. In an effort to share local artists’ work amid social distancing, separation and seclusion, the Kuna Arts Commission is curating a virtual art gallery. In announcing the gallery in November, the arts commission wrote, “The intent of the Digital Art Gallery is to virtually promote public awareness and participation of art in all its various forms … during this modern-day pandemic.” For more details, see Blake Jones’ article in the Idaho Press. • The Packard Group National Exhibition will provide artists the opportunity to display their art in a virtual exhibition at No. 7 Center in Vermillion, SD. This exhibition will be curated by Klaire A. Lockheart, and all entries that follow the guidelines will be included in the show. The drive-in movie art reception will take place on Friday, April 2nd, 2021. An online gallery will be available through http://www.klairelockheart.com.

Any artist in the United States can submit artwork. To help cut artists a break during the current pandemic, there is no entry fee this year. Since COVID-19 is currently ravaging South Dakota, this exhibition will be completely digital. The drive-in movie art reception will be outside.

I’m an art therapist looking for artists who would be interested in sharing a large studio space situation. I work with artists with disabilities (children and adults) and wish to create an inclusive studio. I’m currently looking for the right space and seeing if there is any interest in TVAA to share. I brought two large, wooden shipping crates with me when I moved down here (filled with paintings, of course!) and I would like to give them to someone who can use them. One holds up to 30″ x 40″ and the other holds up to 36″ x 40″. They are very sturdy and free to anyone who wants them. You can contact me if you are interested or would like a picture of them.
