Call to Artists – Idaho Botanical Garden Land Art Exhibit 2021
This Idaho Botanical Garden’s annual Land Art Exhibit and features works using natural materials such as clay, leaves, seeds, stones, wood, and wool. These pieces challenge artists to think about creating art that does not permanently occupy a space. Due to the nature of these natural art pieces, the display will decay and decompose over time.
Now calling all artists that have a love for both art and nature. Applications for the 2021 exhibit are due Oct 30, 2020.
The exhibit will be on display at the Idaho Botanical Garden, spring 2021.

The Seattle Art Museum administers the annual Betty Bowen Award to honor a Northwest artist for their original, exceptional, and compelling work. In addition to the cash prize, the winner will have selected works featured in an exhibition at SAM in 2021.

Call for Street Artists – Eagle Arts Commission
The Eagle Arts Commission invites artists to apply for an art competition. Six (6) artists will be selected. The competition will be located on the North Channel pedestrian underpass retaining walls. The artists should choose how to address their assigned space and will have 16 hours (2 days) to complete their work. The artwork should complement the space, serve to highlight the unique qualities of the Greenbelt as well as life in the City of Eagle. Potential themes for the work are recreational activities, the river or the history of the area. Generous awards!

To help artists build a sustainable life in the arts, the Idaho Commission on the Arts offers My Artrepreneur Program™, an art-centered business development program taught by working artists. Registration is open for the 2020 Artrepreneur course to be held in Boise at the new Center for Visual Arts on the BSU campus. Artists attend four workshops over a period of six months.
