    To help artists build a sustainable life in the arts, the Idaho Commission on the Arts offers My Artrepreneur Program™, an art-centered business development program taught by working artists. Registration is open for the 2020 Artrepreneur course to be held in Boise at the new Center for Visual Arts on the BSU campus. Artists attend four workshops over a period of six months.

  • Call for Art: Packard Group National Exhibition 2020

    The Packard Group National Exhibition will provide artists the opportunity to display their 8×10” art at No. 7 Center in Vermillion, SD. This exhibition will be curated by Klaire A. Lockheart, and all entries that follow the guidelines will be included in the show. The reception will take place on Friday, April 10, 2020 from 6-8 pm. The gallery will be open to the public on April 11th and April 18th. An online gallery will be available through

    Any artist in the United States can submit artwork. There is a $20 entry fee, and a $10 return shipping fee. The total cost of entry is $30. Artwork without return shipping will not be returned. There is an optional artwork exchange with this exhibition. Artists who elect to participate in the artwork exchange will pay the $5 exchange fee with their application, and a randomly selected artwork created by a different artist will be sent to them. Participation in the artwork exchange is not required, but it is a fun way to acquire original art.

    • All 2D media is welcome
    • All art must be 8×10” or smaller
    • Artwork must be ready to hang (wired, foam core mounted, or framed)
    • No glass
    • Artists may submit up to 3 pieces, but each entry must include the exhibition application, entry fee, and return shipping fee
    • No hateful, misogynistic, or racist imagery will be accepted

    • Complete and sign the submission form
    • Artists under 18 years old need a parent/guardian to sign the form
    • Include the required $20 entry fee for each submission
    • Include the $10 return shipping fee for each submission
    • Include the $5 exchange fee to participate in the optional artwork exchange for each submission if desired
    • Write checks to Packard Group LLC
    • Ship artwork, submission form, and required fees so everything arrives by 03/20/2020 to Packard Group National Exhibition, No. 7 Center Street, Vermillion, SD 57069
    • You will receive confirmation by email after your artwork arrives

  • We Art Women benefit show is back!
    We are partnering again with Art Source Gallery and our beloved beneficiary, the Women’s and Children’s Alliance.

    This year’s show takes place throughout the month of April with the We Art Women juried art exhibition. We are also hosting a First Thursday reception on April 2nd, and the ‘must-see’ benefit auction April 9th.

    We Art Women juried art exhibition is now accepting applications for 2- dimensional and 3-dimensional artworks. ELIGIBILITY: Open to all fine artists and visual media (no video or crafts.) All work must be original and completed within the last three years. You may submit up to 3 works of art for your $10 entrance fee, OR donate to our silent auction. All artwork must be for sale, with a 30% commission retained by the Women’s and Children’s Alliance on all sold work.

    Eagle Arts Commission Arts and Culture Grant Program

    The Eagle Arts Commission is now accepting applications for its 2020 Arts and Culture Grant Program. The grant program helps fund projects or education that will enhance the artistic atmosphere and/or musical environment in the Eagle Community. Organizations and individuals can apply. The deadline is February 18, 2020 at 5:00 p.m.

  • Gallery Fifty-Five in McCall has openings for 2D and 3D artists. Enjoy being part of a community of regional artists. Learn more and apply at

  • The Gem Center for the Arts is a wonderfully unique building that houses artist studios, a black box theater, a dance studio, the Lounge at the End of the Universe, and a variety of office spaces.

    We currently have two vacant art studios available on the third floor. One is a 150 square foot studio featuring a large window with southern light and rents for $300 per month. The other is 600 square feet with large windows facing east and north and rents for $1000 per month. Three other studios of varying size and price will also be opening up in February. All studios include utilities, wifi, and free parking. This floor also features two large work sinks, a community kitchenette, and wall space in communal areas to hang your work.

    This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a great group of creatives, in a community that has amazing energy and a real desire to help each other succeed.
