Artist Statement
How would a lunar eclipse appear from other places in the universe? Imagination views the event “From Another Perspective”. Transporting the observer to the far reaches of space makes the earth a distant orb, and the moon takes the starring role.
Being in the depths of space allowed the skies to swirl with violet and phthalcyanine blue. The painting continuing onto the frame expresses the endless reaches of space.
My thought experience became a visual manifestation of the artistic concept.
