I heard from many sources that a Totality experience was worlds away from a partial eclipse, and decided that it really WOULD be worth driving 60 miles north and bringing along a couple dozen friends from all over the country. In Weiser, ID, totality lasted 2 minutes and 5 seconds. I’ve never experienced anything like it—it was like being on another planet. My guests also agreed that it was worth the journey, and I will seriously consider traveling to Buenos Aires for the 2019 eclipse. I hope totality lasts longer then!
