About the artist
Rosemary’s Art is realistically styled & tells a story. She paints what has meaning and value to her. Her initial concept comes from memory & or photo reference. She under-paints with thinned oils. Several glazes are then layered until a new piece emerges. Rosemary illustrates, with watercolor & ink family history books in her Rambling Rose series. She uses a simple cartoon style for these smaller paintings. Her greeting cards are painted in watercolor & ink. The personification of a fox is a recurring, theme in homage to her middle name.
